BP p.l.c (BP)- 3,000 July 17 $40 puts were bought for $0.49, against open interest of 3,810 contracts. The stock is on pace to close below the 100-day SMA for the first time since March.
InfraREIT (HIFR)- 2,000 Aug $35 calls were purchased for $0.85-$0.95. Call activity was 8x the average daily volume. Hunt Consolidated (large HIFR shareholder) is looking at acquiring assets from Energy Future. On June 16th, Macquarie initiated HIFR with an outperform rating and a $36 price target.
Williams Companies (WMB)- The Sep $50/$60/$67.50 bull call spread risk reversal was put on 7,500 times for a $0.48 debit. Last week, Energy Transfer Partners offered to acquire WMB for $64 per share. This has since been rejected as too low of an offer.

AMBC- Ambac Financial will report Q2 earnings after the bell tonight. Analysts are looking for $0.59 in EPS and revenue of $131M. The stock has moved higher after all 4 earnings reports (went public in April 2013). Nearly 6,000 Jan 2015 $30 calls were bought for $1.05 each on 8/6.
NUAN- Nuance Communications will also be releasing earnings after the bell tonight. Analysts are looking for $0.27 in EPS and revenue of $499M. The options market is pricing in a $1.30 move, or 7.19%, in either direction through Friday’s close. The call to put ratio is currently 5:1, led by a likely rollout from 1,000 Oct $18 calls (credit) into 2,000 Oct $20 calls (debit). The stock has dropped after earnings on 7 straight reports. On 5/22, Goldman Sachs lowered their price target to $14 from $15.

BAC- Bank of America is set to announce Q3 earnings before the bell tomorrow morning. Analysts are looking for $0.18 in EPS and revenue of $22 billion. Options traders are pricing in a $0.50 move, or 3.48%, in either direction through Friday’s close. The call to put ratio in (BAC) options is 3.12.
PEP- Pepsico will also report earnings in the morning. Analysts are looking for $1.17 in EPS and revenue of $17 billion. The options market is implying a $2.10 move, or 2.59%, in either direction through Friday’s close. Call to put ratio in (PEP) options is currently 2.47.
FXI- The May 2014 $34.50/$42.50 bull risk reversal was put on 26,000 times for a $0.23 credit. Volume was above the open interest in both options.
