The $472M biotech company is expected to have Phase 2 data results on BCX7353 – APeX-1 (used to reduce or eliminate attacks in HAE patients) due out in the first quarter of 2017. On December 16th, JMP Securities upgraded the stock to outperform with a $10 price target.

2015 was a year dominated by crashing commodity headlines (especially oil prices) and chatter of when the Federal Reserve was finally going to hike rates for the first time since 2006. The 10-15% drop in integrated energy companies like Chevron and BP may seem like a common occurrence or even 25-50% hair cuts in the smaller, more leveraged producers, but there was a bright spot in the industry for investors: select oil refiners stocks.

The options market is implying a $2.50 move, or 4.41%, in either direction through Friday’s close. Call to put ratio in (TSO) options is currently 11:1, led by a buyer of 4,600 June $60 calls for $1.12-$1.13 each. The stock has moved higher after earnings on four out of the last seven reports.

The call to put ratio in (RENN) options is currently 3.60, led by a buyer of 250 Dec. $4 calls for $0.10 each.
AUXL- 2,900 Jan. 2014 $22.50 calls were bought for $1.10 each, against open interest of 118 contracts.
MSFT- The Jan. 2016/Jan. 2015 $30/$40 bull risk reversal was put on 16,500 times for a $0.36 credit. Volume was above the open interest in the Jan. 2016 $30 puts.
TSO- 4k May 2014 $65 calls were purchased for $3.60 each, against open interest of 419 contracts.
