ACE Limited (ACE)- 2,000 Nov $100 puts were sold for $3.30. They are acquiring insurance competitor, Chubb, for $28.3B in a cash and stock deal. Earnings are due out on July 21st.
ARM Holdings (ARMH)- 1,700 Oct $44 puts were bought for $1.40-$1.45. Also, there was sizable buying in the July and Aug puts (put activity was 17x the average daily volume). Shares are nearing a test of the $48 support level. Several tech stocks have saw big put buying in recent days. Earnings are due out on July 22nd.
Cypress Semiconductor (CY)- 9,000+ Sep $12 calls were bought for $0.70-$0.80. Earnings are due out on July 16th (shares have moved higher after earnings on 5 out of the last 6 reports). Yesterday, Barclays initiated the stock with an overweight rating and a $15 price target.

American International Group (AIG)- A likely rollout from 42,985 Jan 2016 $60 calls ($1.80 credit) into 42,985 Jan 2017 $60 calls ($4.50 debit). Call activity was over 7x the average daily volume. The insurer trades at a P/E ratio of 11.26x (2015 estimates), price to sales ratio of 1.19x, and a price to book ratio of 0.71x.
ARM Holdings (ARMH)- Over 2,000 May $55 calls were bought for $0.58-$1.10. The Apr $55 calls also saw sizable buying. Call activity was nearly 6x the average daily volume. Goldman Sachs reiterated their conviction buy rating on March 31st.
Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO)- A rollout from 6,300 Apr $30 puts ($1.39 credit) into 6,300 May $22.50/$27.50 put spreads ($1.09 debit). Earnings are due out on May 4th.

MSFT- Microsoft will report Q2 earnings after the bell tonight. Analysts are looking for $0.68 in EPS and revenue of $23.7 billion. The options market is implying a $1.56 move, or 4.38%, in either direction through Friday’s close. Call to put ratio in (MSFT) options is currently 1.14, led by a seller of 5,000 July $32 puts for $1.06 each.
SBUX- Starbucks is also set to announce Q1 earnings after the bell tonight. Analysts are looking for $0.69 in EPS and revenue of $4.3 billion. Option traders are pricing in a $3.62 move, or 4.96%, in either direction through Friday’s close. The call to put ratio in (SBUX) options is 2.02, led by a buyer of 400 Feb. 2014 $72.50 calls for $2.38 each.
