Will Washington Reach A Deal Next Week?
Equities were able to turn green on the week, following a strong three day rally off of a one month low. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) added 1.09% and the S&P 500 (SPX) picked up 0.75%. However, the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) dipped 0.27% due to declines in high beta names like Amazon.com (AMZN) and Facebook (FB). Volatility (VIX) pushed up to four month highs on Wednesday, but ended up finishing the week lower by 6.09%.
