- CNP- 20,000 Sep $24 calls were bought for $0.60 each, against open interest of 8 contracts. CenterPoint Energy beat Q2 EPS and revenue estimates this morning and raised FY14 EPS guidance to $1.14-$1.21 from $1.10-$1.19.
- EXPR- Sizable buying in the Aug and Sep $15 calls today. Volume was above the open interest in the Sep $15 calls. In June, Sycamore Partners acquired a 9.9% stake in the company.
- MET- The Jan 2015 $45/$55 bull risk reversal was put on 5,250 times for a $0.62 debit. Volume was below the open interest in both options. They bought the Jan 2015 $55 calls and sold the Jan 2015 $45 puts to reduce the cost of the trade.
- OCN- A likely rollout from 8,270 Jan 2015 $40 calls (credit) into 8,270 Jan 2015 $30 calls (debit). Volume was above the open interest in the Jan 2015 $30 calls. (OCN) shares are down for the 8th consecutive trading day (RSI of 14).
- SC- Another 900 Oct $20 calls were bought for $0.70-$0.74 each, against open interest of 8,203 contracts. Big buying in these calls yesterday. Stock is in oversold territory on the daily chart (27.66 for RSI).
