- A- The Aug/Nov $57.50 call calendar was put on 5,000 times for a $1.58 debit. Volume was above the open interest in both options. Earnings are due out 8/14. They sold the Aug $57.50 calls and bought the Nov $57.50 calls. This means they look for the Agilent Technologies shares to struggle with $57.50 in the near-term, but see gains later this year.
- ACAS- The Nov $14/$17 bull risk reversal was put on 3,187 times for a $0.05 debit. Volume was below the open interest in both options. American Capital earnings are due out on 8/6.
- F- 20,000 Dec $18 calls were purchased for $0.48 each, against open interest of 13,016 contracts. This was tied to a sale of 1,624,960 shares for $17.11.
- MET- The Jan 2016 $45/$52.50 bull risk reversal was put on 2,500 times for a $2.45 debit. Volume was above the open interest in the Jan 2016 $52.50 calls. Breakeven on this trade is $54.95 in Metlife shares on January 2016 options expiration.
- WLT- A likely rollout from 10,000 Aug 1 weekly $5.50 calls (credit) into 10,000 Aug 16 $5.50 calls (debit). Volume was below the open interest in both options. Walter Energy missed EPS and revenue estimates for Q2 this morning.
