What To Expect At The Start Of Q3
Equities snapped a three week winning streak, despite last week’s announcement that the Federal Reserve wasn’t going to reduce their $85B per month of asset purchases. The S&P 500 (SPX) shed 1.06% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) lost 1.25%. Led by Apple’s (AAPL) strong iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S sales last weekend, the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) was able to pick up 0.17%. Volatility (VIX) soared to a three week high, rallying 17.84% this week.
