Worst Week For Stocks This Year
Equities suffered their worst five day stretch of the year, led by the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s (DJIA) 2.23% weekly decline. The S&P 500 (SPX) gave back 2.10% and the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) lost 1.43%. Volatility soared to one month highs this week, as the spot Volatility Index (VIX) rose 7.16%.
