The 2nd largest aftermarket automotive parts retailer in the United States, AutoZone AZO, operates 4,984 stores in the country (including Puerto Rico). They also have exposure below the border in Mexico (402 stores) and Brazil (5 stores). In the last year they opened 148 stores in the U.S., 40 in Mexico, and 2 in Brazil. In the latest fiscal year more than 400 stores were added to the commercial program, bringing the total to 3,845 domestically.
